According to a post from Direct Energy, you can expect natural gas prices to rise in the near future.

Prices have been exceptionally low—the lowest since 1999 in fact—but according to a report issued by the U.S. Energy Information Administration they will rise again as consumption increases and higher-than-average winter temperatures return to normal.

What does this mean for energy brokers?

We’ve been saying this for a while now, but it’s a great time to lock-in pricing at these astonishingly low rates. If your prospects are on the edge, reference this report to remind them just how unique and temporary these low prices are.

Once the prices start creeping up, we probably won’t expect them this low again for quite some time.
